Portree is the capital of the Isle of Skye and is located on the shores of Loch Portree, providing a central hub for all the main Skye roads making Portree an excellent base for your exploration by road or sea! The Isle of Skye can be reached by bus directly from Inverness or by Train. A ferry is also available from Armadale at the south of the Island.
