Kiltarlaglen House has been serving customers across the Isle of Skye since 1986. In that time we have accommodated thousands of visitors coming to visit the beautiful Island of Skye. Our property boasts 3 lovely self-catering units all designed and furnished to a very high standard.
Our location is second to none; close to the village of Portree in the centre of the Isle of Skye and offering the perfect base for exploring. Many shops, restaurants and bars are within a mile of Kiltaraglen and spectacular local walks are also on our doorstep.
Kiltaraglen House has stood the test of time having provided accommodation to travellers and holidaymakers since the 1930’s. We picked up the gauntlet in 1985 and from 1986 have continued the trend. All our accommodation is well equipped and furnished to provide you with a cosy, home from home. We operate a rolling maintenance and improvement programme for all our homes. There is Fibre broadband throughout, with both the Garden Cottage and Garden Wing each having their dedicated connection. Holly View Annexe sharing the fibre broadband directly from our main house but still enjoys above 38 Mbps.
The kitchens are equipped with fridge/freezers, microwaves, coffee makers (papers are provided) full size oven and hobs. Bathroom facilities vary between properties. All have spacious showers though the Garden Cottage is the only property with a Shower Only.
There is communal laundry and wet weather gear drying facilities available. Our two washing machines and a commercial Lpg tumble drier are located in our garage. A small charge is made for this facility but service washes are available too.
Located in Portree in the centre of the Isle of Skye, we offer the perfect base for exploring one of the most famous Islands in the world. Our accommodation also has ample private parking for all of our guests. The Old Man of Storr is a short 10 minute drive north with the Quiraing walk just beyond. Wherever you decide to visit on the Island we are confident you will have a great experience.
